Hospital

So today was an interesting day.

I really should be asleep at the moment but for some reason I'm feeling compelled to stay up :p

I was admitted into the Freemasons Day Procedure Centre at 12.30 p.m. but didn't go into theatre until after 2.00 p.m. - and wasn't the wait just oh so fun ... NOT! I did have the opportunity though to listen to my iPod which was great, I selected my fave shakers songs from the new album and the last couple, just what I needed. I also ready from Philippians 4 which again was just what I needed to see.

The anaethetist tried to put the needle into a vein behind my right hand - didn't work, it was too small so he had to go further up the arm - and I'm now feeling it that's for sure.

All in all it was ok but I still wish I didn't need to actually have it done. At the moment I actually feel more nauseated than I have for the last few weeks ... that'd be right!

CT Scan on Friday so I'll be happy once all that is over and done with! The doc has ordered some biopsies from the gastroscopy today but I know that will show nothing.

I can't wait to get on the plane next Wednesday, put all of this behind me and continue to focus on Him and on what He is calling me to for 2009!
