In Galatians 5:22-23 MSG it says "But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way."
In God there is freedom - when we live HIS way, He opens the doors, He guides us through, He continues to mold our hearts.
I love it that when we accept Him, He gives us so much - forgiveness, grace, mercy, joy, purpose etc - but how many times do we not walk in what we have received ... we still live bound although we are free.
I'm loving my life - seeing things through new perspective and understanding that I have a purpose where God is going to use me to show Himself to those in my world.
There are still so so many things that I have no idea about - things which are out of my control, which may frustrate me, even cause me to think "am I'm going the right way?" ... but I keep pressing into God and walk in His authority and know that all will be revealed in His time - His way. I need to take heart that I am no longer bound, but am free - as John Wesley so aptly put it:
I once was lost, but now am found.
xoxo
