2007-Where is it going??

So it's hard to imagine in a way but it's nearly the 2nd half of 2007 - the days do seriously fly by quicker as you get older!

There are 13 more sleeps until Hillsong comes around again, I was just glancing over my post about last years conference, now I'm getting ready for the next one-mad!

It's going to be a great conference, there are some awesome speakers and musicians coming but most importantly, a week of truly being able to focus on the one I love the most, Jesus. No distractions like work etc. I believe that it's going to be an awesome time and I'm looking forward to just being in His presence, not that I'm not now but probably not as much as I'd like to be.

Planetshakers is going heaps well. We had our album launch a couple of weeks ago and that was great. Our services are growing, it's great to know that more people are coming to know God, I mean, that is what we're here to do - make a difference in our communities and show the love of God to all we come into contact with. Ushering is going well as is Boom. The kids are great and the journey is a deep learning curve. Not the curve I was expecting but still great and I know God is working in my through this time. I've already organised myself for conference next year in Sydney and Perth. Helping out Ps Tiff with registrations. Now just have to seek after Him and see what His plan for Melbourne conference is!

Netball-playing season is over for the semester, next one starts in July I think. Coaching finishes up this week for school holidays, hoping the second half of the season will prove to be a little more fruitful.

Have been sick on and off for the last couple of months - a silly bacterial bug (mycoplasma). Need time to recouperate but that's hard to do when there's no sick leave left =(

God is doing some awesome things and there's still things in my life that He is dealing with. The journey may not necessarily be easy (or enjoyable in parts) but I know that it is for His Glory and His Name - He knows best and I must continue to trust in Him and take those steps of faith He is calling me to.
