San Fran

Well, it's hard to believe but I've made it to San Francisco. Sleeping patterns are totally whacked but that's cool. Having heaps of fun so far. Only arrived yesterday lunchtime.

I've slept for the majority of my time but I'm starting to get into a bit of a rhythm. Last night after seeing some of the Golden Gate Bridge, I met some of Yen's friends for dinner. We went to Steps of Rome ... well an interesting place I must admit but it was good. The guys in San Fran (or maybe the U.S. in general!) are very well ... bold. Yen & I were walking to dinner and this guy tried to hit on us ... and when we were at the bottom of the bridge, this guy we asked to take a photo for us thought that we were pretty cute ... HILARIOUS!!!!

Anyways, dinner was good as was dessert. It was just cool to meet new people and funnily enough, they were all asian but the american kind so they were a little bacak. Jason, his canto totally sucks, Yee was ok as he is originally from HK and Greg ... well he was totally frieked out by my ability to change from Singlish to English and then to Canto ... he couldn't look at me the same way for awhile, it totally tripped him up HA HA HA.

After my longish day :p I pretty much slept until about 4.00 p.m. Monday. Yen couldn't believe it in a way when she got home from work!! he he Well, after I cleaned up (i.e. had a shower to wake myself up!), we went to dinner and then walked around some shops. I had a bit of a squiz at make up, and like OH MY GOODNESS uber cheap ... I've decided to delay shopping until at least Wednesday ... make a proper list before hitting the shops otherwise I'll just buy EVERYTHING!!! I'll definitely be buying some revlon though, totally new stuf over here. Probably buy another handbag and some jeans and prob some new tops both casual & work ... suitcase is so overloaded, as I've already done damage in Singapore!!!

Tomorrow I've designated as homework day. Get it over and done with so that I don't have it hanging over my head. May keep some with me to do on my layover from San Fran to Melb when I'm in Changi for about 8 hours but not too much. I'll probably be way too out of it.

Although I'm totally excited about being here, I mean it's my first time to the States, I desperately am missing Singapore. I don't even miss Melbourne to be honest. The fact that I'm going back to M'sia & S'pore hfuly for CNY next yr is kinda testament to that. I know that God has called me to be in Melbourne for this time but at the same time, I know that he's called me to be back home for a season as well. I just need to continue to be faithful in what I have in my hand TODAY and let Him handle the tomorrow - I need to continue to trust and obey in all that He guides and calls me to.

Ah, this week will be fun!!! xxoo
