I’ve just been listening to excerpts of our upcoming album, ‘All For Love’ which is being launched this weekend. I love all the songs naturally as it represents the heartbeat of the House where I’m planted but the song that sticks out for me is ‘Hallelujah’.
According to dictionary.com, ‘hallelujah’ means:
–interjection
1. Praise ye the Lord!
–noun
2. an exclamation of “hallelujah!”
3. a shout of joy, praise, or gratitude.
4. a musical composition wholly or principally based upon the word “hallelujah.”
I love the definition: a shout of joy, praise, or gratitude … gratitude … even thinking about the song sends shivers up my spine. Playing the words over in my head (not in the correct order though :p) … ‘Hallelujah, You have won the victory, Hallelujah, You have won it all for me, death could not hold You down, You are the Risen King, Seated in majesty’ … all are such POWERFUL words.
I’m looking forward to this weekend, getting the cd and dvd, I’m going to hopefully be able to share some of the dvd vision with some of the people here at work … may opportunities open up Jesus!
