Our needs are ALWAYS met!

This morning I was reflecting on Luke 12: 22-34 – this is the passage where Jesus was speaking about worrying about ‘things’ when God has provided even the simplest of needs for the animals of the earth. I love verse 25 “Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” (NLT) and verse 31 “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.” (NLT) In The Message translation, verse 31 is amazing: “Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met”.

Steep yourself … definition of that is ‘to immerse in or saturate’ … wow, immerse yourself in God-reality … how important is it to just be in His Presence hey?!

I have ALL that I need; sure, there are some things that I would like to have to make things a little easier but more importantly, as my needs are met, I want to bless others in my life with my time, finances and anything God calls of me.

Tonight, PlanetUni have their first outreach event for the year, ‘Come Celebrate’; I really believe that it’s going to be a significant night, not only for people coming for the first time but also for those who are already a part of our House – things will happen tonight to reactivate and activate everyone to go to the next level. I truly believe that tonight, prayers will be answered; miracles will happen in people’s lives and that Friday, May 30, 2008 is going to be a date that will be remembered by many in this city =)
