Weekend review

Ah yes, the end of Autumn came and went and Winter it seems is truly with us. It has been FLIPPIN’ FREEEZING!!!!

What a jam packed weekend it was. Friday night, we had ‘Come Celebrate’ – an AMAZING night. The place was packed, packed, packed!!! The presence of God was there from the beginning and probably still there as I speak :p!

Saturday was netball and then at night I headed off to Nobu … it was ok, I mean, glad I went but the hype totally is overrated. I totally loved one dish but really, I could probably have got stuff elsewhere. It was great to catch up with Jono but next time, a better place for sure!!

Sunday – a rather loooong day :p! Early in the morning, like, 5.45 a.m. I was collected to go to the airport, a few of us sent off one of our urban life members. Julian was headed back to Colombia via Sydney. His flight ended up being delayed because of the bad weather so that was nice to get a few extra moments with him. We totally surprised him which was nice =)!

After that, pretty much, was just getting ready for church. I dropped my car off at DBC, went back home, got ready, went and got my chai latte :p and then to church for a meeting at 12.00 for Beautiful Woman volunteers. I can’t believe that BW has come around sooo quickly!!! We had the briefing and then basically hung around for church.

We had the album launch for ‘All For Love’ and it went off the charts!! My favourite song is still ‘The Anthem’. I just get into the zone and seriously, it’s only me and Him around – no matter where I hear it!!!!

After the album launch, my urbs went to Madonna’s for supper which was heaps fun. I love those guys, they just inspire me to reach to new levels and grown deeper in my walk with God and also in my friendships with them … God is soooo good is He not??
