Being human

Hmm, being human - well unless you're a very talented mammal, reptile or amphibian reading this, we are all human ;)!

I'm watching Lakewood's Sunday morning service live (http://www.lakewood.cc/) and it's totally amazing and God's speaking to me reminding how sometimes in our humanity, we totally miss out on what He's trying to say & do!

Being human = trying to rationalise things/situations

God doesn't ask us to rationalise, He asks us to trust in Him, seek Him & obey Him.

I may not understand why somethings are happening BUT I just need to bring it to Him as it says in Matthew 11:28-30 NLT "Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."
In The Message - "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will [a]ease and relieve and [b]refresh [c]your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ([d]relief and ease and refreshment and [e]recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [f]good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne."

It's a new week - I just need to keep pressing in, my dreams & heart's desire's will come to pass.
