So coffee

It is something which a Melburnian is supposedly addicted to & we know where the best cup can be found ...
I must suck at being a Melburnian then - I still have not found the perfect cup ... not in Melbourne anyway. It is true, I have found the ultimate but that is in Sydney - where I was introduced to how coffee is truly experienced - smooth, beautiful wholesome flavour & no sugar required.
Yes SOR has changed my coffee experience & am waiting for the same epiphany here in Melbourne. In the meantime, my grande skim latte (caramel or plain) will have to do :).

But anyway, people drink coffee for so many different reasons, to wake up, to help keep awake whilst studying & others just because they need a caffeine hit. I just drink it because ... well because I can :p. I am sitting here at my fave place - Starbucks, drinking my grande skim caramelatte & all is well with the world - although this was not so before I sat down! Today coffee is my calming down injection.

I went to the 1130am service today which was a good service & went home and it was like the enemy was waiting to whisper nonsense into my head - any opportunity he will take & it seems God is really about to open things up coz mr annoying is literally trying to distract me at any opportunity, yes even on God's holiest day of the week!

But I put on my iPod, started listening to worship (Hillsong) & just kept holding & pressing into God. Then I make it to starbucks, I sit down & it's like I'm sitting down victoriously - another battle is over & the glory is given to God because He has guided me through.

Ps 139:23 says "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."

I pray for the mind of Christ, the genius of the Spirit & the heart of the Father.

A new week to see His plans unfold :)
