In God's waiting room

God's waiting room. It's as diverse as it is wide & deep.

As I sit at the hairdresser's, God reminds me that we are all waiting for something or someone. Obviously, I am literally waiting for the color in my hair lol but on the journey I am waiting for His purposes to be revealed.

It is in this waiting room that we will be pushed, tried & tested. Maybe that hope or dream we have just doesn't seem as though it's really going to come. Or maybe we think it came but we were too busy & it passed us by ...
Regardless, we are called to keep pressing into Him, seek wisdom (the mind of Christ), be open to His leading (the heart of the Father) & know when to step into the place set before us (genius of the Spirit).

I remember after our DNA encounter at church that it was truly in my spirit that I am the beginning of a new generation for my family where sickness would no longer be entertained (up until me, both sides are riddled with major illness, particularly cancer) & my family will believe in Him who is the author & finisher of life. Not just my blood relatives as they are now, but the new generation to come, still believing, still praying because He put it in my spirit. In His waiting room, the timing is always perfect.

As it says in Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 'Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God. And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God's purpose is that people should fear him.

Good times ahead xoxo
