Update - yes it's been awhile

Wow

2 years ago was the last entry

So much has happened …

Changed jobs – again lol; travelled HEAPS & changed study … so here I go in no particular order:

Planetshakers
Love my guest services team – they inspire and challenge me like nothing else. I have seen them grow and be challenged and for that I am so thankful for the privilege! I am meeting more new people and love it.

Hillsong
For me it’s my second home lol, have been to Hills Campus once (a couple of weeks ago) and then to both Colour & Hillsong Conferences.
Life changing – most definitely
Significant encounters – no question
Renewed my spirit & reignited dreams – without doubt

What stands out from both these conferences is that there are no standouts. Both literally opened heaven and poured out over all of us who attended and those we shared (or still sharing with) post event.

At Colour, Craig Groeschel’s session was so impactful, I still have the words that the Holy Spirit whispered to me, and then Jeanne Mayo with the resonating phrase “Make hell regret you were born” WOW!!

At Hillsong, which is ever so fresh, Ps Bobbie’s word to flourish in our gardens (work/church/family/relationships) and to seek the mind of Christ, genius of the Holy Spirit and the heart of the Father – still blown away by it.

I was able to spend time with amazing people at both conferences and know that times spent with them and without them were for a purpose and that in His timing all will be revealed.

Study
So I’ve switched from Theology over to BA (Security, Terrorism & Counter-Terrorism), major change but oh so loving it. Does add to my bulging schedule but wouldn’t change it for the world!

Netball
Well, this is probably the one thing that hasn’t changed. Still co-ordinating MGGS and also coaching the seniors but have now got a new Director of Sport after being Director-less for most of 2010 :s.

Again, very blessed and honoured to have my year 11 and 12’s this year. They make it all worthwhile.

Work
Well the most interesting over all since 2009. Left KBS in 2010 – under extremely stressful circumstances but knew it was the right thing. Then just let God take control of my job and went contract into KPMG (through temp agency) which then turned into a direct contract with them which finished in December. Another 6 weeks with out a job and commenced in my current role (perm). It has been more than a rollercoaster but again so thankful that it was. I learnt a lot about trust and not giving into fear!

Travel
The best to last – well maybe!!!
In 2009 I headed off to Vanuatu which was truly a humbling experience but very well worth it. Then back to the US towards the end of the year which again was AMAZING! NYE was spent in Sydney which is really the only place to be, great weather, fireworks and atmosphere.
2010 was more local than anything else, back to Sydney for both Colour and Hillsong, Perth for a wedding, New Zealand to snowboard then back to Perth at the end of the year for U2. NYE was spent in Melbourne and not terribly exciting at all!

We are half way through 2011 and I have been to Sydney 4 times – 1 for work, 2 for conference & 1 random day to catch up with a friend. Headed to Perth for Easter which was great. Not sure there’ll be many more trips this year but wouldn’t be surprised if another trip (or two) to Sydney or Perth.

So blog is now up to date and will get back to it, not sure how regularly, but I’ll see how it goes.

Overall, life is great and well I’m just in love with everything!!
