Psalm 130:5

This verse is so timely:

NLT: "I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word."
NIV: "I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope."
AMP: "I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope."
NKJV: "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope."
MSG: "I pray to God - my life a prayer - and wait for what he'll say and do."

I love being able to read any verse across a few different versions, it brings new revelation always.

I love the Amplified where it says I expectantly wait, in the Message my life a prayer and then in the New Living, yes, I am counting on Him!!!

To say I have encountered some battles these last few days well, that's the least I can say!!! BUT my hope is in Him, in His Word, in the truth that is Jesus.

My heart is so full of expectation yet I must wait - it is not for me to go and make the move, I must wait ... I am in His waiting room and therefore must continue to diligently incline my ear to His voice and obey as He calls. It's pretty amazing that despite the week it's been, I've never smiled more - many reasons for that =D but it still is the fact, I have continued to smile - & not the fake smile but the smile of peace (though not necessarily feeling it at times) that my Father in heaven is watching and guiding along each step and moment.

In a way I kinda sense that these next 12 months are going to blow my mind - and things are going to be revealed that I really cannot even comprehend now ... oh it's exciting times ahead! xoxo
