Wow - just one day and things have gone all topsy turvy!
Who would've thought that when I woke this morning full of happiness & expectation for the day that I'd be cut down in a matter of moment & pretty much wish to just disappear into the ether.
Yep, words, powerful things ... a few verses from Proverbs:
Prov 4:24 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life
Prov 12:18 Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing
Prov 15:1 A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare
Prov 18:21 The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences
I just had to go through Proverbs - the wisdom from this book alone has the answers to so many different situations we all face! His Word - soothing to the soul, refreshes your heart & mind.
So close to the point to just pack up and move to Singapore or Sydney, although surprising to some, it would take a lot to get me to that point and today, has been a shaving close to that point. But instead of running (which is still an attractive option) I sought out a few people to just pray - pretty sure that this is the better path to pursue!
The day can only get better ... :s!
