HE is Alive in us – always!

Great is Your love
Let the whole earth sing
Let the whole earth sing
You reached for us
From on heaven's throne
When we had no hope

You are the way
There is no other
You are the way
There is no other

You rose from death to victory
You reign in life
Oh majesty
Your name be high and lifted up
Jesus, Jesus alive in us

You outshine the sun
You are glorious
You are glorious
Lord over all
You have made us new
We owe it all to You

In everything
Be exalted
In everything
Be exalted

You rose from death to victory
You reign in life
Oh majesty
Your name be high and lifted up
Jesus, Jesus alive in us

The enemy is under Your feet
We are free
We are free
Death has been defeated by love
You overcome
You overcome
The enemy is under Your feet
We are free
We are free
Death has been defeated by love
You overcome
You overcome

So today we woke to the news that an amazing young man of God is now with Jesus. Shaun fought & fought and defied the doctor’s reports throughout the time he was on life support and even for the three days that he was off it.

Only God has the answer as to the time and why’s – we are called not to try and work it out but TRUST in His GOODNESS, MERCY, WISDOM that it will be revealed in His way.

This song is playing on my iPod and just so timely (and it’s on repeat).

As sad as it is that God has called Shaun home to be with Him, we also rejoice that there is no more suffering and that Shaun loved and is loved by friends and family. He loved Jesus and lived a life that would see Him be greeted by God “Well done, good and faithful servant” – but 10 times more than that.

The sun is out now and God’s just reminded me of what Jeanne Mayo said at Colour Conference from Psalm 30:5b

“Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” NKJV
“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” NIV
“Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” NLT
“The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.” MSG
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” AMP
